Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist with expertise in CVOR procedures for an immediate 13-week contract at a reputable hospital in Plano, TX. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to a dynamic surgical team while enjoying comprehensive benefits and support from a leading staffing agency. Pay Package:
$54 per hour
Required Skills:
Current and valid Texas surgical technologist certification
Minimum of 1+ years of CVOR experience
Proficiency in surgical procedures within the CVOR speciality
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to work 8-hour day shifts on a consistent schedule
Preferred Education and Experience:
Prior experience in a hospital setting, specifically in CVOR or cardiac surgery environments
Strong familiarity with sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Other Requirements:
Must pass a criminal record check as mandated by state law
Ability to work full-time daytime hours
No licensure or certification beyond those specified required for employment
