Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for a EEG Tech for an 13 week contract in Syracuse, NY.
Details:
Specialty: EEG Tech
Location: Syracuse, NY
Pay Rate: 60
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift/Hours: 10 hour | variable
Duties:
Will perform routing EEG's in accordance with established ASET guidelines on patients ranging from neo-natal to geriatric in outpatient and inpatient setting.
Enters raw data and prepares data for physician review, measures and applies electrodes for adult and pediatric patients; descriptive analysis of EEG waveforms and patterns observed.
Appropriate patient/family interaction.
Editing of 24 hour data.
Maintains equipment, stocks acquisition stations, reports malfunctions, and records in equipment log book.
Follows existing hospital/department policy and procedures.
Requirements:
Current and valid Georgia (or compact state) RN (Registered Nurse) license required
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required
