Details:

Pay Rate: $64Â per hour
Contract Length: 13 weeks | Temp to perm
Shift/Hours: 8 hour days
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-NM) required.
Current BLS certification – American Heart Association required
Duties Include:
Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes in accordance with physician orders.
Operate imaging equipment such as gamma cameras, PET/CT scanners, and computers to capture functional images of organs and body systems.
Ensure proper patient identification, explain procedures, and provide support throughout the diagnostic process.
Maintain detailed patient records, including procedure logs and dosage documentation.
Apply radiation safety protocols and monitor for contamination or exposure risks.
Calibrate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment and verify its functionality.
Adhere to state and federal regulatory guidelines, including NRC and OSHA standards.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff to interpret and deliver accurate diagnostic results.
Participate in quality assurance activities and continuing education to maintain credentials.
