CT Technologist Duties: As a CT Technologist, you’ll use your expert imaging skills to provide life-saving diagnostics in a fast-paced, trauma-ready acute care environment. Your day will include:
Selecting imaging parameters tailored to patient needs and exam type
Ensuring scan clarity and re-performing as necessary for accuracy
Collaborating closely with radiologists for optimal results
Recording and maintaining detailed scan and patient records
Following all radiation safety protocols and HIPAA regulations
Assisting with additional imaging needs in trauma and emergency cases
CT Technologist Requirements: To qualify for this CT Technologist job in California, you’ll need:
Current ARRT certification
California Radiologic Technologist License
CA Fluoroscopy Certification
ARRT-CT certification
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
2+ years of CT Tech experience (trauma experience is a must!)
