CNA – Psychiatric CNA – Psychiatric | $25/hr | Hospital Contract | Weston, WV | 8-Hour Shifts

Medical Edge Recruitment is hiring compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a contract position at a hospital psychiatric facility in Weston, West Virginia. If you're looking for meaningful work, excellent pay, and a supportive team, this assignment checks every box!

Job Details:
- Specialty: Psychiatric / Behavioral Health
- Location: Weston, WV
- Facility: Hospital Setting
- Start Date: 7/28
- Shift: 8-hour shifts (varied)
- Pay: $25.00/hour

Your Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding)
- Prepare clients for therapy, physician visits, and activities
- Provide basic nursing care (vitals, first aid) under RN/LPN supervision
- Engage in therapeutic communication and emotional support
- Monitor and report changes in patient behavior or condition
- Participate in treatment team rehabilitation activities
- Support recreational and social programs
- Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment
- Escort clients to scheduled appointments and facility activities

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must meet one of the following:
  - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  - Listed in WV Nursing Aide Registry
  - Completed a 120+ hour state-approved CNA training program with clinical hours
- BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
