Job Description

 We have an immediate opening for an Emergency Room RN (Registered Nurse) for a 13 week contract at a Critical Access Hospital in Oberlin, KS.

Type: 13 Week contract
Shift/Hours: 12 hour night shift (7p – 7a)
 

Duties Include:
  • Assesses Triage patients and prioritize care based on severity of condition.
  • Quickly and accurately assess patient needs and administer appropriate treatments.
  • Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Administer medications, wound care, IV therapy, and other nursing interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and post-treatment care.
  • Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures.
  • Respond to emergencies and codes with appropriate protocols.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety procedures, and infection control standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to stay current with best practices.

Requirements
  • Associates degree from an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Valid State licensure as an RN.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification.
