We have an immediate opening for reliable LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurses) for a 13-week contract for (3) 12hr NIGHT shifts at a Long Term Care Facility in David City, NE.
Specialty: Geriatrics Location: David City, NE Facility type: Long Term Care Pay rate: $46 per hour Type: 13 week contract Shift/Hours: (3) 12hr shifts (6p – 6a) – Rotating weekends
Duties Include:
Assesses patients by physical examination, including pertinent diagnostic testing to determine health status.
Administers medications and treatments.
Participates in the care planning process.
Communicates with physicians regarding changes in resident’s conditions, diagnostic test results, etc.
Documents assessments and care in compliance with standards of care and company policy.
Educates patients and their families on health-related issues.
Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
Requirements:
Current and valid LPN license
Minimum 2 years of experience
Current BLS certification is required
Associates degree from an accredited school of nursing is required
