Overview:
Join Medical Edge Recruitment as an LPN in a reputable Skilled Nursing Facility located in Hart, MI. This 10-week contract offers an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in patient assessment, medication management, and care planning, all while working within a supportive team environment. If you're a dedicated nursing professional seeking meaningful work and professional growth, this role is designed for you.
Pay Package:
Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications, with weekly direct deposit and additional stipends available for travel and housing.
Required Skills:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Valid State licensure as an LPN or LVN
1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting
Current BLS certification
Ability to assess patients through physical exams and diagnostic testing
Strong communication skills for collaborating with physicians and team members
Experience in medication administration and treatments
Knowledge of documentation standards in compliance with regulatory and company policies
Ability to educate patients and families on health issues
Mandatory COVID vaccination (exemptions accepted)
Preferred Education and Experience:
Nursing diploma or degree from an accredited institution
Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar environments
Other Requirements:
Availability to start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
Shift work: 8-hour evening shifts, with rotating weekends
Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 or have approved exemption
Willingness to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
