We have an immediate opening for a reliable LBSW (Licensed Bachelor Social Work) for 13 week contracts at a psychiatric hospital in Osawatomie, Kansas.  8 hour shifts for 1st shift Monday through Friday with the following requirements:

Specialty: Psychiatric
Location: Osawatomie, Kansas
Facility type: Hospital
Hourly Rate: $42
Start Date:  9/9/2024
Assignment Type: 13 Week Contract
Shift/Hours: 8 hour shifts  Monday – Friday

Duties Include:
  • Responsible for gathering and documenting information in the Social Service Assessment and Discharge plan.
  • Discharge plan details the decisions for the specific discharge plans.
  • Collaborate with community providers and the patient’s significant others to locate resources for discharge.
  • Primary liaisons to families as well as the community resources, relaying information to the team in written form as well as verbally.
  • Coordinate placement of patient to ensure that patients are released to the least restrictive environment possible, without endangering safety.
  • The incumbent works independently in this position, making many decisions on his/her own.

Requirements:
  • Must be a Licensed to practice Social Work in Kansas
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experienced
