Position: LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) – Behavioral Health
Location: Carlsbad, TX
Facility Type: State Supported Living Center

Pay Rate: $40 per hour
Contract Type: 6-month contract
Shifts Available: 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift
Start Date: July
LVN Job Duties: As a Behavioral Health LVN in Carlsbad, TX, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering direct care to residents with behavioral health needs. Duties include:
Performing physical assessments and diagnostic testing to monitor patient health
Administering medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
Participating in care planning and individualized treatment approaches
Collaborating with physicians and care teams on changes in condition
Documenting assessments and interventions per facility and state policy
Educating residents and families on health and wellness
Completing all required documentation with accuracy and timeliness
LVN Requirements:
Current and valid LVN license (Texas or compact state)
Minimum of 2 years of LVN experience, preferably in behavioral health or long-term care
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
