Schedule: Full-time with on-call rotation
Medical Director Responsibilities: As Medical Director, you will serve as the clinical leader of the facility, ensuring quality, compliance, and coordination of care. Responsibilities include:
Overseeing and managing all medical services within the facility
Delivering direct psychiatric and medical care to patients
Evaluating patients with behavioral, mental health, or substance use disorders
Supervising clinical staff, including physicians, NPs, and support staff
Leading quality assurance, clinical documentation, and compliance efforts
Collaborating across departments to promote excellence in patient care
Participating in call coverage and emergency consultations as needed
Providing staff training, mentorship, and ongoing clinical leadership
Ensuring adherence to medical protocols, state/federal regulations, and ethical standards
Medical Director Requirements:
Medical Degree: MD or DO required
Board Certification: Psychiatry (required)
Licensure: Active State of Pennsylvania Medical License (or eligible)
DEA Registration: Required
Certifications: BLS, CPI, and de-escalation/restraint training (can be provided upon hire)
Experience:
Completion of psychiatric residency
1+ year of post-residency clinical leadership experience preferred
Experience treating addiction and substance use disorders strongly preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
