What You'll Be Doing – Pharmacy Tech Responsibilities: As an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician, you'll work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient medication management. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and distributing medications as directed
Replenishing meds in automated dispensing units
Managing inventory and expiration dates
Compounding sterile IV preparations (including chemotherapy and nutrition)
Repackaging bulk meds into unit doses
Assisting in drug order receipt, storage, and documentation
Performing monthly medication storage inspections
Supporting the pharmacy team with compliance and safety standards

Pharmacy Technician Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years old
Certified through NHA or PTCB
New York State Registered Pharmacy Technician (required)
2–3 years of hospital pharmacy technician experience (preferred)
Team player with flexibility and strong organizational skills
