Overview:
Medical Edge is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a Recovery Center in Westfield, PA, on an immediate 10-week contract. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide essential psychiatric care within a supportive environment, making a meaningful difference in patients’ recovery journeys. You will be a vital member of the healthcare team, offering expert medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Pay Package:
Hourly rate of $50, with weekly pay through direct deposit, along with travel and housing stipends, comprehensive health benefits, and additional incentives such as referral bonuses and corporate discounts.
Required Skills:
Current and valid RN license
Experience in Behavioral Health or Psychiatric Nursing preferred
CPI certification preferred
Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience
Current BLS certification required
Proficiency in medication administration and documentation compliance
Strong communication skills with physicians and patients
Ability to participate actively in care planning and patient education
Knowledge of standards of care and federal/state regulations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associates degree from an accredited school of nursing
Prior experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
Availability for a 12-hour night shift (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.)
Schedule includes weekdays with rotating weekends
Must obtain CPI certification if not already held
Must pass licensing and compliance checks
Travel and housing stipends available for eligible candidates
