Job Description


Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for Behavioral Health Registered Nurse on a 52-week contract at a state hospital in Terra Alta, WV. 

Details:
  • Specialty: Psych
  • Location: Terra Alta, West Virginia
  • Pay Rate: $44
  • Contract Length: 8 weeks
  • Shift/Hours: Variable 
Duties
  • Administers medications and treatments.
  • Participates in the care planning process.
  • Communicates with physicians regarding changes in resident’s conditions, diagnostic test results, etc.
  • Documents assessments and care in compliance with standards of care and company policy.
  • Educates patients and their families on health-related issues.
  • Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
Requirements:
  • Current and valid state license
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience 
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required
