We have an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse for a 13 week contract in Grand Rapids, MI
 
Specialty: Psych RN
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Facility type: Correctional Facility   
Hourly Rate: $58
Start Date:  6/25/2025 
Assignment Type: 13 Week Contract 
Shift/Hours: 12 hour shifts Nights   
  
Duties Include: 
  • Utilizing the nursing process, the RN develops an initial nursing treatment plan for each admitted patient.
  • Competent in assessing, planning, and delivering care for patients with co-occurring disorders, eating disorders, and trauma backgrounds.
  • Directs and participates with other personnel in maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.
  • Assists with discharge planning and works with patient at time of discharge.
  • Provides leadership to other personnel in crisis behavioral management.
 
Requirements: 
  • Current and valid RN license 
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience 
  • Current BLS certification is required 
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing is required
