Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist – SLP
Location: Katy, TX
Setting: K–12 public school (placements matched to experience)
Start Date: August
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-hour shifts
Contract Type: 44-week school-year contract
Pay Rate: $50/hour
Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do as a School SLP: As a school-based SLP, you’ll be a key part of each student’s support team—helping them find their voice, build confidence, and thrive in the classroom.
Conduct in-depth speech and language assessments
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Deliver evidence-based speech therapy tailored to each student’s academic goals
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success
Attend IEP meetings and ensure compliance with school and federal guidelines
Document therapy sessions, progress, and treatment outcomes
Treat a range of needs including articulation, language, fluency, and social pragmatics
School SLP Requirements:
Active and valid Texas SLP license (or Compact license eligible)
Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (school or pediatric experience preferred)
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Experience with IEP systems and collaboration in multidisciplinary school teams
