Contract Length: 44 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8-hour shifts
Start Date: August (Start the school year strong!)
What You’ll Do as a School-Based SLP: As a school-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you’ll play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and reach their full potential.
Conduct speech and language assessments in collaboration with school staff
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based speech therapy interventions
Provide age-appropriate, engaging instruction for students with communication disorders
Ensure all documentation and service delivery meets federal, state, and local guidelines
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to meet student needs
Track progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings when needed
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Requirements:
Valid and current SLP license in Maryland
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
Passion for working with students in a school environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
