Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based | $50/hr | Lawrence, MA | 44-Week Contract Medical Edge Recruitment is actively hiring Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a rewarding school-based SLP position in Lawrence, MA. This is a 44-week contract opportunity in a K-12 school setting, ideal for experienced and passionate SLPs seeking a consistent Monday through Friday schedule.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Responsibilities: As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting, you will:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based speech therapy interventions for students
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to special education and speech therapy services
Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student development
Participate in IEP meetings and create treatment plans tailored to K-12 students
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Requirements:
Active and current SLP license
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
Experience in a school-based SLP role preferred
Strong communication and documentation skills
Passion for working with K-12 students in a collaborative educational environment
