Position: Speech Language Pathologist – SLP
Specialty: School-Based (K-12 Options)
Location: Middletown, Connecticut
Facility Type: Public School
Pay Rate: $61/hour – Weekly Direct Deposit!
Contract Length: 44 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-hour shifts
Start Date: August – Just in time for the school year!
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Duties: As a school-based SLP, your day will be full of purpose and impact:
Conduct SLP assessments to identify speech and communication disorders in K-12 students
Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions tailored to each student’s age and learning needs
Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to support IEP goals and student success
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations for special education services
Track progress and document therapy sessions effectively and professionally
Support a welcoming, inclusive, and development-focused school environment
SLP Requirements:
Active and valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Connecticut
Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a school-based or pediatric SLP
Strong collaboration skills and a passion for student-centered care
