SLP Assistant Job Duties: As a school-based SLP Assistant (SLPA), you will:
Assist with standardized speech and language assessments under the supervision of an SLP
Observe and collect data to support diagnosis of articulation disorders, language delays, stuttering, and more
Help implement customized therapy plans designed by supervising SLPs
Support students with communication or swallowing disorders in individual and group settings
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to student progress reports
Work closely with teachers, families, and other school staff to ensure successful therapy outcomes
This SLPA position allows you to truly make a difference while working in a positive school environment! SLP Assistant (SLPA) Requirements:
Valid SLP Assistant license (SLPA) in Missouri
Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
School-based experience is a big plus!
