School Year Contract | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | SLP Jobs in Missouri

SLP Job Details:

  • Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Setting

  • Location: St. Joseph, MO

  • Facility Type: Public School

  • Pay Rate: $40/hour

  • Assignment Type: Full School Year Contract

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7.5-hour shifts

  • Start Date: July 21, 2025
SLP Job Responsibilities:
As a school-based Speech Language Pathologist, you will:

  • Administer standardized assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders

  • Analyze assessment data to determine root causes of communication challenges

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with speech and language impairments

  • Address a wide range of conditions, including articulation disorders, fluency disorders (stuttering), voice disorders, and language delays

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student IEP goals

  • Monitor and document student progress throughout the school year
SLP Job Requirements:

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Missouri (MO)

  • SLPA supervision experience (a plus, but not required)

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent SLP experience (school or pediatric setting preferred)

  • Must be comfortable working in a school environment

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • BLS Certification (preferred)
