Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 6-month contract in a state-supported living center in Big Spring, TX. If you're passionate about behavioral health and ready to make a difference, this is the assignment for you!
Position Details:
- Specialty: Behavioral Health
- Location: Big Spring, TX
- Facility: State-Supported Living Center
- Pay: $41/hour
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: 8-hour shifts (varied)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical assessments and relevant diagnostic testing
- Administer medications and treatments per care plan
- Communicate with physicians regarding changes in condition and test results
- Document care per clinical and policy standards
- Educate patients and families on wellness and treatment
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Active LVN or LPN license (Texas)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
