We have an immediate opening for PACU Rn in Rapid City SD
Location:Â Rapid City SD Pay Rate:Â $1800 Per week Start Date:Â Â 9/24/2025 Assignment Type:Â 13 Week Contract
Duties Include:
 Patient Monitoring:Â
Continuously monitor vital signs (heartbeat, blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate) and assess the patient's level of consciousness to ensure stable recovery from anesthesia.Â
Symptom Management:Â
Provide care for post-operative symptoms such as pain, nausea, and other potential side effects of anesthesia.Â
Medication Administration:Â
Administer prescribed medications and other treatments to manage patient symptoms and facilitate recovery.Â
Patient & Family Education:Â
Provide clear instructions and education to patients and their families about the post-operative care plan and what to expect during recovery.Â
Communication & Coordination:Â
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and address concerns.Â
Documentation:Â
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, charts, and medical files, including any surgery details and treatments provided.Â
Safety and Assessment:Â
Ensure patient safety during recovery by observing for complications like breathing problems, airway issues, or oversedation.Â
Qualifications
• RN License for SD
PACU Â Experiences at least 2 years experiences
