Job Description
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a full-time Occupational Therapist in an exciting permanent opportunity at an acute-care hospital in Fort Pierce, FL. Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapist license or eligibility
Minimum of 1 year of OT experience
Experience in acute care, inpatient, rehab, or hospital settings preferred
BLS certification required within 30 days of start date
Ability to evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to support patients with functional mobility and ADLs
Excellent documentation skills
Ability to manage a daily caseload and prioritize patient needs
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or higher
At least 1 year of experience in acute care, inpatient, rehab, or hospital environments
Other Requirements:
Must be available for onsite interview
BLS certification required within 30 days of employment
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly rate: $32.62 – $48.93 per hour
Full-time permanent position
Day shift with rotating weekends
Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus, based on eligibility, with a 2-year commitment potentially required
