Medical Edge Recruitment is urgently hiring an experienced and motivated X-Ray/CT Tech (Radiologic Technologist) for a 13-week contract at a respected hospital in Ganado, AZ. This is a prime opportunity for a skilled X-Ray Tech or CT Tech looking for flexibility, great pay, and the chance to make a difference in a supportive clinical setting.
Responsibilities of the X-Ray/CT Tech:
As a Radiologic Technologist with dual X-Ray Tech and CT Tech responsibilities, your duties will include:
Operating X-Ray and CT imaging equipment to acquire clear, diagnostic-quality images
Performing contrast studies (oral, IV, rectal) based on physician requests
Monitoring patients before, during, and after imaging, particularly with contrast agents
Ensuring patient safety and comfort, including radiation shielding
Reviewing and submitting high-quality images for physician interpretation
Calibrating and maintaining imaging equipment and reporting any malfunctions
Keeping exam rooms organized, stocked, and compliant with safety standards
Accurately documenting all procedures in patient records
X-Ray/CT Tech Requirements:
To qualify for this X-Ray/CT Tech contract job in Arizona, candidates must have:
A current and valid ARRT certification
At least 2 years of recent experience as an X-Ray Tech and/or CT Tech
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong knowledge of imaging best practices and patient safety protocols
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
