Overview:
Join a dynamic multidisciplinary team as a CT Technologist, responsible for operating specialized cardiac imaging equipment and supporting vital procedures in the heart catheterization lab. Your expertise will directly contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions, ensuring patient safety and high-quality results. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an allied health professional in a cardio or radiologic setting
Proficiency in operating fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging equipment
Strong understanding of radiation safety and dose monitoring standards
Exceptional attention to detail for complex and hazardous tasks
Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients and team members
Competent in data entry, digital image management, and PACS system operation
Ability to work in high-stress settings with professionalism and courtesy
Knowledge of Federal, State, and local radiation regulations and safety standards
Adaptability to perform tasks requiring dexterity and technical precision
Computer skills including Windows applications and role-specific software
Preferred Education and Experience:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or computed tomography ARRT (CT) certified ORÂ American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
Other Requirements:
Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications through AHA
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and 24/7 shifts
Must adhere to all safety, privacy, and compliance regulations in a healthcare environment
Physical capacity to exert 20-50 pounds of force periodically and frequently; medium work classification
Willingness to perform routine exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially infectious materials
Must act in accordance with hospital radiation safety protocols and maintain a professional demeanor
