Position Highlights:
Provide psychiatric medication management to SNF residents
Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations, follow-up med-checks, and behavioral consultations
Collaborate with attending physicians, psychologists, nursing, social work, and pharmacy on integrated care
Provide staff education on de-escalation, behavior plans, and Beers-criteria prescribing
Qualifications:
MSN or DNP with PMHNP board certification (ANCC)
Active state APRN license with full prescriptive authority and DEA
Experience in geriatric psychiatry / long-term care strongly preferred
Comfort managing complex polypharmacy, dementia-related behaviors, and antipsychotic stewardship
Active state license (or eligible) and DEA where applicable
