Job Description
Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant – Geriatric Clinic (13-Week Contract)
Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant for an immediate 13-week contract at a Geriatric Clinic in Plano, TX. This essential role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to patient care in a specialized clinical setting while enjoying comprehensive benefits and support from a trusted partner in healthcare staffing.
Pay Package:
$20 per hour, with an average weekly compensation of $800.
Required Skills:
Current and valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
Minimum of 1+ year of clinic experience
EKG experience required
Preferred Education and Experience:
Prior experience in a clinical setting, ideally within a geriatric or outpatient clinic environment
Other Requirements:
Completion of a criminal record check as mandated by state law for employment
Shift: 8-hour daytime hours, Monday through Friday or as scheduled
Must be able to work the assigned shift and adhere to clinic policies
