Job Title: Cath Lab Tech – Rapid City, SD
Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is actively seeking a highly experienced Cath Lab Technician for an immediate contract opportunity in Rapid City, South Dakota. This role offers an exciting chance to work within a state-of-the-art hospital environment, supporting complex cardiovascular procedures essential to patient care. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in hybrid cath lab/OR procedures, including EVAR, PMEG/TAMBE, and other advanced interventions, ensuring top-quality patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Pay Package:
Competitive weekly pay of $3,480, with options for travel and housing stipends, comprehensive health benefits, and additional employee incentives.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a procedure area, specifically in endovascular and hybrid cath lab settings.
Demonstrated proficiency with complex procedures such as EVAR, TAMBE, TCAR, TEVAR, TAVR, TMVR, femoral bypass, and AIFF.
Experience performing procedures in hybrid OR environments with cardiothoracic surgeons.
Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Current and valid certifications/licenses (RT or equivalent, RCIS preferred).
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced hospital setting and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Prior experience in acute care and trauma centers.
Experience working with Siemens and Philips X-ray and hemodynamic systems.
Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
Other Requirements:
Must have active certifications and licenses.
Willingness to assist in floating within the cath lab for peripheral and structural procedures.
Flexible scheduling with rotational weekends, on-call shifts (~every other or third night), and holiday work.
Ability to work 10-hour shifts, typically from 0600 to 1630.
Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from any Monument Health facility.
Scrubs provided; free parking available.
