Job Description
Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for a Dental Assistant for an 8 week contract in Middletown, CT.

Shift/Hours: 7am-3pm
Duties:
Â
Performs instrument exchange procedures for operative dentistry (including general dentistry, pedodontics, prosthetics, orthodontics, periodontics and oral surgery)
Prepares dental restorative and prosthetic materials.
Assists in oral surgery as required.
Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations on infection control and sterilization.
Ability to take digital X-rays
Competent with electronic dental health records
Prepares and performs daily maintenance of major equipment.
Maintains equipment and supply inventories.
Requirements:
Certified Dental Assistant
Minimum 2 years of experience Â
