Requirements:
Masters Degree Required
Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) in MA.
Appropriately identifies patients at nutrition risk
Assesses diet order based on patient's age, current
Accurately assess physical limitations which may compromise nutritional status.
Accurately calculate metabolic needs, i.e., energy protein, fluid, and/or other specific nutrients.
Recommends appropriate nutrition intervention based on subjective and objective data.
Accurately documents the initial and ongoing assessment of patient's nutritional status and progress as determined by chart review.

Oversees the completion of diet slips three times a week for all patients with special dietary needs as observed by the manager of Dietary Services
