Job Description


Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for a "Director of Emergency Services" for a position in "Albuquerque, NM"

Details:

Specialty: Emergency Services / Emergency Department Leadership

Location: Albuquerque, NM

Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital / Specialty Heart Hospital

Pay Rate: Competitive based on experience + bonus eligible 

Shift/Hours: Full-Time, Leadership Schedule

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program required
  • Candidates without a BSN must be actively enrolled in an accredited BSN program with a scheduled completion date
  • Current RN license or license acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing leadership/management experience required
  • Emergency Department leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in an acute care hospital environment
  • Strong operational, financial, staffing, and quality management experience
  • Proven ability to develop staff, improve employee engagement, and drive accountability
  • Experience managing budgets, productivity, patient throughput, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent physician relationship management and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
  • Clinical specialty or nursing administration certification preferred
