Job Description

Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for an Emergency Medicine Physician for a community acute?care hospital client in Waukegan, IL.

Details:
 
  • Specialty: Emergency Department Team
  • Location: Waukegan, IL
  • Facility Type: Community acute-care hospital
  • Salary: $270/hr for day shifts, $290/hr for night shifts
  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $50,000, paid quarterly (based on experience & shift volume) Quarterly sign-on bonus, contingent on a minimum of 8 shifts per month.
  • Malpractice insurance with tail coverage provided
  • Flexible, independent 1099 contractor structure
  • Long-term stability or part-time flexibility

Qualifications:
  • Are Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) Preferred
  • Have or are eligible for an Illinois medical license
  • Are skilled in core ED procedures (intubation, central lines, chest tubes, etc.)
  • Work well under pressure and thrive in a team-based environment
