Job Title: Family Medicine Physician – Perm Placement
Overview:

Pay Package:
$223,000 annually
Required Skills:
MD or DO degree from an accredited university
Active California Medical License (M.D. or D.O.)
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Practice
Active DEA License
Proven ability to obtain and review medical, social, and developmental histories
Experience performing physical exams and immunizations
Capable of initiating laboratory exams and studies as indicated
Strong health education and counseling skills
Management of acute and chronic illnesses to community standards
Ability to consult with and refer complex or high-risk patients to specialists
Competence in exercising clinical judgment in triage situations
Commitment to clinic policies, procedures, and quality standards
Participation in quality improvement programs
Effective case management and teamwork skills
Fluent in Spanish
Preferred Education and Experience:
Prior experience in a community or primary care setting
Familiarity with programs such as CHDP and Managed Medical Care
Experience providing care to diverse patient populations
Other Requirements:
Must obtain or possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI) prior to start date
Must hold or obtain approved credentials with health plans
Valid CPR and BLS certifications
Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Additional requirements include current State ID and, if applicable, passing USMLE exams or completing US-based residency for foreign medical graduates
