The opportunity
A brand new, independent company with serious private equity backing
Value based care for a primarily geriatric population, with a reasonable census and a team that trusts each other
State of the art support behind the bedside
Bradenton and Manatee County, in hospital and skilled nursing facility settings
Full time, with real time off protected
What you will do
Serve as the physician of record for patients admitted to your service
Complete admission workups, examine, diagnose, and treat across acute and complex conditions
Order and evaluate diagnostics and perform common bedside procedures as needed
Round at hospitals and skilled nursing facilities and coordinate specialists
Lead safe discharges and transitions, and support the advanced practice clinicians on the team
What you will bring
MD or DO with residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active, unrestricted Florida license, or eligibility to obtain one
Board certified or board eligible with certification within two years of joining, recent graduates welcome
Strong inpatient management skills, a valid Florida driver license and reliable transportation, Spanish a plus
