Requirements:
Must have High school Diploma
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and public areas.
Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop floors, and remove trash from designated areas.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas and supply closets.
Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are stored safely when not in use and kept out of patients' reach during use.
Replenish facility supplies, including paper products, soap, and other housekeeping items as needed.
Ensure adequate linen inventory is maintained on units and throughout the facility.
Observe and promptly report any unsafe conditions or situations that may affect the health, safety, or well-being of patients, visitors, or employees.
Assist in maintaining a safe and risk-preventive environment throughout the facility.
Follow established infection prevention and control procedures.
Comply with OSHA regulations and all Safety and Risk Management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Utilize cleaning equipment and chemicals in a safe and effective manner.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
Previous housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or healthcare cleaning experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation procedures.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Good communication and observation skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds or more as required.
