StaffMed Health Partners is proud to partner with a community healthcare organization in North Texas that is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or experienced APP with ICU background for a full-time Night Shift ICU Intensivist APP role at our Level III Trauma facility in Greenville, Texas.
Practice Highlights
Night shift ICU coverage
12-hour shifts
Full-time schedule averaging 14 shifts per month
Self-scheduling available
Two weekends per month required
Holiday coverage rotation included
Clinical Responsibilities:
ICU admissions and management of critically ill patients
Responding to and assisting with codes
Performing procedures independently, including:
Intubations
Central lines
Arterial lines
Collaboration with 24-hour intensivist physician coverage
Support hospital admissions as needed
Ideal Candidate:
ACNP preferred, though experienced APPs with strong ICU background may also be considered
Prior ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred
Comfortable practicing with autonomy in a fast-paced critical care environment
Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
Night shift experience preferred
