StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting a Inpatient Rehabilitation Medical Director for a leading national physician services organization in Bradenton, FL. Perks and Benefits:

Position Highlights:
Serve as Medical Director of an acute inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF)
Provide physician oversight, quality, and regulatory leadership (CMS 60% rule, 3-hour rule, CARF / Joint Commission)
Lead the rehab medical staff and partner with hospital administration, therapy, and nursing
Maintain a clinical attending caseload in addition to leadership duties
Drive utilization review, length-of-stay management, FIM scores, and outcome metrics
Qualifications:
BC in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation OR Internal Medicine with significant IRF experience
Minimum 2 years as an attending in an acute inpatient rehabilitation facility
Demonstrated leadership in rehab medicine, QA, and CMS regulatory compliance
Active state license (or eligible) and DEA where applicable
Board Certification: yes
