Job Title:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care (LTC)
Overview:
Join Medical Edge Recruitment as an LPN in Brookings, SD, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents within a reputable LTC facility. This is an immediate opportunity for dedicated nursing professionals to contribute their expertise in a supportive environment, working 12-hour night shifts on a 13-week contract. Pay Package:
Weekly pay of $1,664 for a 13-week assignment.
Required Skills:
At least 1 to 2 years of experience working in a long-term care setting
Valid license to work in South Dakota
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a 12-hour schedule
Preferred Education and Experience:
Prior experience specifically in LTC environments
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of healthcare protocols relevant to LTC
Other Requirements:
Must pass a criminal record check as mandated by state law
Must possess an active BLA card from the AHA
Availability for 12-hour night shifts
Reliable transportation and punctuality
