RN (Registered Nurse)

We have an immediate opening for a Rn  labor And Delivery  in  Denton TX area
 
 
Specialty: RN L&D
Location: Denton, TX
Facility type: Clinic
Pay Rate: $55 Blended  per Hour
Start Date: 9/4/2025
Type: 13 Week contract 
Shift/Hours: 12hours  shift
   
 
Duties Include: 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuously monitor both mother and baby's vital signs, timing contractions, and assessing fetal position and well-being
  • Assist with pain relief, including administering epidurals and other medications. 
  • Provide physical, psychological, and emotional support to the laboring parent, coaching them through contractions
  • Provide essential education to new parents on newborn care, feeding, and postpartum recovery. 
  • Utilize critical thinking and quick response skills in a fast-paced environment to handle unexpected emergencies. 
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, midwives, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
  Requirements 
Certifications Required: ACLS BLS Fetal Heart Monitoring - AWHONN ADVANCED NRP
Minimum 1 year Exp.
