Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
Location: Hart, MI
Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility
Start Date: 2 weeks from offer
Type: 10-week contract
Shift/Hours: 8-hour shifts (Evenings with rotating weekends)
Duties Include:
•   Assesses patients by physical examination, including pertinent diagnostic testing to determine health status.Â
•   Administers medications and treatments.Â
•   Participates in the care planning process.Â
•   Supervises LPNs and certified nursing assistants.Â
•   Communicates with physicians regarding changes in resident’s conditions, diagnostic test results, etc.Â
•   Documents assessments and care in compliance with standards of care and company policy.Â
•   Educates patients and their families on health-related issues.
•   Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.Â
Requirements
•   Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.Â
•   Valid State licensure as an LPN / LVN. Â
•   Minimum 1-2 years of experience
•   Current BLS certification.Â
•   COVID VACCINATION MANDATORY but will accept exemptions
