Job Description
Job Title: Licensed Professional Counselor – Psychiatric Facility
Overview:
Join a dedicated psychiatric healthcare team in Pueblo, Colorado, as a Licensed Professional Counselor. This contract role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a reputable facility, providing essential mental health services. Pay Package:
$49 per hour, with a 24-week contract and 8-hour shifts.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor within the past 2 years
Active LPC license in Colorado
Strong knowledge of psychiatric care and treatment modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Education and Experience:
Relevant Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
Experience working in psychiatric or mental health settings
Other Requirements:
Must pass a criminal record check as required by state law
No licensing or certification exceptions
Shift: 8 hours, schedule to be confirmed
This position is contingent upon successfully passing a criminal background check
