Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Accountant for an immediate contract opportunity at a hospital in Tucson, AZ. This role offers a vital chance to contribute to healthcare operations through accurate financial management, supporting the hospital’s accounting and payroll functions. Pay Package:
$40 per hour
Contract duration ranges from 4 to 13 weeks
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Required Skills:
Associate’s Degree or Bachelor of Science in Accounting or relevant qualification
Proven experience in general accounting and payroll processing
Familiarity with standard payroll and accounting procedures
Ability to maintain payroll records, timesheets, and adjustment forms
Competence in computing, withholding, and deductions related to net earnings
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Prior experience in healthcare accounting or payroll processing advantageous
Other Requirements:
Must pass a criminal record check in accordance with state law
