Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a reputable hospital in Quinter, KS. This vital role involves assessing and treating patients with diverse physical, cognitive, and emotional needs in an inpatient acute setting. As a key team member, you will develop personalized treatment plans that improve patients’ independence and quality of life, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Pay Package:
$43 per hour during standard hours
Required Skills:
Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program in Kansas
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in inpatient acute care
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations of physical, cognitive, and emotional health
Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Prior experience working within hospital inpatient settings
Familiarity with multidisciplinary team approaches in acute care environments
Other Requirements:
Must pass a criminal record check as required by state law for employment in healthcare settings
Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
Travel and housing stipends provided for eligible candidates
Valid license to practice occupational therapy in Kansas
