Job Title: Physical Therapist – Long Term Care (13-week Contract)
Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist for an immediate 13-week assignment at a long-term care facility in Houston, Texas. This vital role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on patient care while working within a supportive team environment. Pay Package:
$2,575 weekly
Required Skills:
Valid and current Texas Physical Therapist license
Over 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist within the last 2 years
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, with varied days as required
Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Prior experience in long-term care or similar facilities
Familiarity with elderly patient care and rehabilitation protocols
Other Requirements:
State law mandates a criminal record check as a condition of employment
Availability to work night shifts, with flexibility for varied days
No license or certification beyond the PT licensure required
Must comply with all facility-specific policies and procedures
