Job Description
Job Title:Â Emergency Medicine Physician
Overview:
StaffMed Health Partners is partnering with a leading acute care hospital located 45 minutes south of San Antonio, TX, to find a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, high-volume emergency department serving approximately 15,000 patients annually. The hospital features a 67-bed acute care facility with a Level IV Trauma Center, providing a fast-paced environment supported by a skilled team committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
Required Skills:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (MD or DO)
Ability to work in a high-volume emergency department
Eligibility for J1 visa sponsorship
Experience with Meditech EMR system is preferred but not required
Education and Experience:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
Prior emergency medicine practice experience is preferred
Other Requirements:
J1 visa candidate acceptance
1099 status with up to 120 hours per month
Ability to work 12-hour shifts covering 24 hours daily
Up to 1099 contractor status
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive compensation with flexible 1099 status
