Overview:
Join Medical Edge Recruitment as a Polysomnographic Technologist and play a vital role in delivering high-quality sleep diagnostics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a hospital setting, conducting sleep studies for children aged 4 and up, with a focus on supporting young patients in a night shift schedule. Be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in sleep health.
Pay Package:
$1800 weekly
Required Skills:
Recent Epic electronic health record experience
Certification with BRPT, AASM, or NBRC as RPSGT, RST, or a respiratory therapist (CRT/RRT) with sleep credentials
Active New York State license
Experience conducting Medicare or Medicaid sleep studies under CMS requirements
Proven experience working with young children (ages 4 and up) in sleep study environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
Prior experience in polysomnography within a hospital or clinical setting
Strong pediatric sleep study background
Other Requirements:
Must hold an active NY State license
Credentials as RPSGT, RST, or respiratory therapist with sleep certifications
Ability to work night shifts (12-hour shift)
Willingness to conduct sleep studies in accordance with CMS and state regulations
Criminal record check as mandated by state law for employment
