Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery | 12 hour days
Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13 week contract in Bastrop, LA.
Details:
Specialty: Labor and Delivery
Location: Bastrop, LA
Facility Type: Hospital
Pay Rate: $62 per hour
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift/Hours: 12 hour days
Requirements:
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana (or multistate)
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification from the American Heart Association is required
Duties:
Taking vitals for the mom and baby
Administering medication
Monitoring contractions
Identifying complications during labor and delivery
Communicating the mom’s condition and needs to the Physician
Coaching the mom during labor and delivery
Caring for the mom after she gives birth
Providing emotional support
