Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery | 12 hour days
Overview:
Join Medical Edge Recruitment as a dedicated Labor and Delivery RN for an exciting 13-week assignment in Bastrop, LA. This critical role offers the opportunity to impact maternal and neonatal care in a hospital environment while working with a supportive team that values your expertise. Pay Package:
$62 per hour
Required Skills:
Current and valid RN license in Louisiana (or multistate license)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery or postpartum settings
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association
Ability to monitor and take vitals for mother and baby accurately
Proficiency in administering medications and monitoring contractions
Skill in identifying labor and delivery complications
Effective communication skills to coordinate with physicians and care teams
Compassionate and supportive approach to patient care
Preferred Education and Experience:
Nursing diploma or higher in nursing education
Prior experience in labor and delivery units within hospital settings
Other Requirements:
Must hold active Louisiana RN license or equivalent multistate license
Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts
State law requires a criminal record check as a condition of employment
