Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Psych RN to join an inpatient substance abuse treatment facility in Bayard, IA. This critical role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' recovery journeys while working within a supportive team environment. Pay Package:
Competitive pay rate of $50 per hour for a 13-week contract, with weekly direct deposit and comprehensive health benefits.
Required Skills:
Valid RN license for the state of Iowa
Minimum of 12 months of recent psychiatric or related experience
Proficiency in CIWA/COWS assessments and UAs
Ability to establish and maintain firm yet empathic boundaries
Competence in electronic medical records using HCS system
BLS certification
Preferred Education and Experience:
Prior experience in inpatient substance abuse or mental health settings
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and boundary management
Other Requirements:
Must hold a valid BLS certification
Ability to work 8-hour day shifts in scrubs
Willingness to undergo a criminal record check as mandated by state law
